2011, Looks Nice.

Short journal entry just to get things wiped clean off my page.
It'll be a new year soon, and I'm re-vamping my DA... Going to try to get back into the swing of things.
Over the past several months I have felt that DeviantArt has become too juvenile for me.
There is so much focused on artificiality rather than the actual artists and works themselves that I began to feel the site wasn't really about the art any more.

I still feel this way.

However, if there is one thing I still feel was successful in creating and maintaining my drive to keep creating things that were beautiful- it was having a DeviantArt page, and all of my fans & followers that I had accumulated- as few as they be.

All of you who still support me and my work are in for a treat.
A lot has happened over the past year.
I am a photographer now~ :)
I attend college, and I work for newspapers.
This is my new passion... And although I still draw, I am excited to open up this new chapter and see how it pans out in the coming year.

Looking forward to it!

Yes. Nothing is really going on.
Just got my new laptop fixed. It told me to go f'ck myself, basically.
But I triumphed in the end. We'll see how long that lasts, though.

Not doing portraits yet.
I started one the other day and lost it since, evidently, I needed to reformat as a last resort to fixing le-laptop.

Ehmmm.. Other than that.. Just waiting for this rainy weather to go away.
I want to take Hachi to the dog run at Silver lake soon. Otherwise I wouldn't mind all this rain.


P.S; My best friend in the WHOLEWIDEWORLD, DudeRun, is putting college on hold for a new job she just got. She is leaving in less than a week for Colorado and then Alaska! So safe travelling wishes for her. I wish I could go with her-- And I probably would if I could-- But alas, I am cursed with the dreaded senior year of school that I must finish before doing anything as amazing as she.

Sorry, but this is just a tiny update.
Hopefully I can manage to convince a particular family member for a new/better tablet this year, but if not that's just fine. Mine is two years old and still in decent working condition. ^_^

Also, after I fly back from San Diego and to my dad's in NYC, I'm going to REALLY try to get back into my art funk again. School has just been too overloaded lately, I'm sorry for the further delay on updates. But at least I may have some Flash animations to upload by the 8th. ^o^

Lastly... I dunno.. Lol.
Just trying to not stress out too much. I very nearly had a panic attack today in study hall.
I was laughing and crying at the same time- like anybody cared about how many projects I needed to get done in the next 18 days, though. Silly me.

Today was alright. I taught Jackson how to solve the first layer of a Rubik's Cube.
Other than that, nothing mildly artistic is happening in my life. ;_;
